What the charity does

We provides support, services & activities to promote well-being and resilience of people in the local community, with a specific focus on people in later life. Our work includes information and advice, dementia care, residential care, hospital discharge support, tackling isolation and loneliness, empowering people to take control of their own lives, carer support, health and activities.

Charitable objects

The objects for which the charity (the "objects") is established and to which it is specifically restricted are to promote the following purposes for the benefit of the public and/or older people, particularly but not exclusively in and around the metropolitan borough of wirral ("the area of benefit"):4.1 preventing or relieving the poverty of older people;4.2 advancing education;4.3 preventing or relieving sickness, disease or suffering in older people (whether emotional, mental or physical);4.4 promoting equality and diversity;4.5 promoting the human rights of older people in accordance with the universal declaration of human rights;4.6 assisting older people in need by reason of ill-health, disability, financial hardship, social exclusion or other disadvantage; and4.7 such other charitable purposes for the benefit of older people as the trustees may from time to time decidethe outcome of this being the promotion of the well-being of old people.
