Data sources & methodology

Data comes from the Charity Commission for England and Wales full register extract (charities, annual return history and part A, governing documents, classifications, areas of operation and other names), published daily under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The current extract is of 2026-09-25.

We list every registered main charity and charities removed since 2018; linked charities are counted on the main charity's page. Names, addresses and objects written in capitals are shown in normal case for readability. We do not publish trustee names or e-mail addresses.
