A) to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the county of kent and in the wider area of the country of England and in particular the advancement of education, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress and the promotion of health; and b) to promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end to bring together in council representatives of the statutory bodies and voluntary organisations engaged in the furtherance of the above purposes within the county of kent and the wider area of the country of England.
