What the charity does

A local charity of patients and urologists, working with Leicestershire, Rutland, Northamptonshire hospitals and associated hospital in the Leicester cancer care area. Helping prostate cancer suffers, by raising funds for new innovative equipment and treatment, centre funded specialist nurses, offering volunteer support and befriending & raising local awareness of the disease in local men.

Charitable objects

1. To relieve sickness and in particular disease of the prostate by encouraging andsupporting the needs and treatment of prostate cancer patients principally treatedbut not exclusively by the department of urology, university of leicester NHS trust andassociated hospitals within the leicester cancer care area2. To raise public awareness in the issues relating to prostate cancer3. To provide relief of suffering amongst men, principally treated, but not exclusively by urology, university of leicester hospitals, and associated hospitals, for prostate cancer and associated prostate conditions, and in addition their families and dependents through the provision of practical support and information and such other ways as the trustees/directors may determine

Area of benefit: Principally Treated But Not Exclusively by Dept of Urology, University of Leicester NHS Trust and Associated Hospitals Within the Leicester Cancer Care Area.
