Established in 2002, the North Wales Owl Sanctuary (owlrescue) operates a comprehensive facility for the care & rehabilitation of both wild and captive bred owls from the region, along with the promotion of owl conservation throughout the region.

Charitable objects
For the benefit of the public in north Wales and the surrounding areas, through:(1) To relieve the suffering of all species of owls, in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain a long term owl sanctuary with the necessary facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such birds,(2) The advancement of public education regarding owl husbandry, their habitat and ecology.
