What the charity does

To advance the full or part-time education of children and young people aged 11-18 who by reason of exclusion from education or otherwise by special educational needs may not for any period received suitable provision unless alternatives are made for them. To promote or advance for the benefit of the social welfare or education of people living in the area of benefit in which the charity operates.

Charitable objects

To advance the education of people through the provision of personal, social and health education;to act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 by providing adviceand assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and otheractivities as a means of:a. Advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills,capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society asindependent, mature and responsible individuals;b. Advancing education;c. Relieving unemployment;d. Providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reasonof their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economiccircumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of suchpersons."
