What the charity does

Benefiting inhabitants of West Midlands, in particular people from minority ethnic communities, by association with community groups and national organisations. Education, health, poverty, crime, develop capacity and skills. Encourage participation from the communities fully in society, promote equality of opportunities, good race relations between persons of different racial and ethnic groups.

Charitable objects

4 the charity's objects ("objects") are to promote, by such exclusively charitablemeans as the trustees shall from time to time determine, the benefit of theinhabitants of wolverhampton and its surrounding areas ("the area of benefit"),in particular, but not by way of limitation, persons from minority ethniccommunities, by association with community groups, voluntary and nationalorganisations and local authorities in a common effort to:4.1 achieve education, preserve and protect health, relieve poverty and to preventcrime among minority ethnic people.4.2 develop the capacity and skills of minority ethnic people who are sociallydisadvantaged in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet,their needs and to participate more fully in society.4.3 promote equality of opportunity and good race relations between persons ofdifferent racial and ethnic groups.
