What the charity does

CharityComms is the professional membership body for charity communicators. We believe that effective and inspiring communications should be at the heart of every charity's work for a better world. We hold regular seminars and conferences, host networking events and enable charities to share best practice. Members have exclusive access to our mentoring programme plus a host of other benefits.

Charitable objects

(a) To promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities, not for profit organisations and voluntaryorganisations for the benefit of the public throughout the United Kingdom by the provision ofresources to optimise their communications.o charities are organisations which are established for exclusively charitablepurposes in accordance with the law of England and Wales.o voluntary and not for profit organisations are independent organisations whichare established for purposes that add value to the community as a whole, or asignificant section of the community, and which are not permitted by theirconstitution to make a profit for private distribution. Voluntary organisations donot include local government or other statutory authorities.(b) To advance the education of the public in relation to the matters referred to in object 3(a).
