Charitable objects
The objects of the cio are:(1) To relieve and prevent poverty and preserve and protect health of persons involved in prostitution and are victims of sexual exploitation by a process of training counsellors to find, help and advise such persons and providing a front line service for the support of police, social services and other agencies engaged in the prevention of trafficking of individuals for sexual exploitation or other abuses.(2) To develop the capacity and skills of those disadvantaged by sexual abuse, sexual exploitation or prostitution in such ways as they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.(3) Such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.
