Charitable objects
The objects of the christ assemblies are, for the public benefit:-(1) The advancement of the Christian faith mainly, but not exclusively, by means of religious worship services, holding of prayer meetings, lectures and religious teachings to enlighten others about the Christian religion(2) The prevention or relief of poverty in derby (and such other areas as may be determined by the trustees) in particular but not limited to, the provision of grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.(3) The relief of distress and suffering and the preservation and protection of the mental and physical health for victims of domestic abuse or at risk of being exposed to domestic abuse, in particular but not exclusively, by raising public awareness that abuse or domestic violence should not be tolerated, providing counselling and practical support for victims of domestic violence and in such other ways as the trustees may from time to time decide.
