1) to advance in life and help young people in lancashire and greater manchester through:(a) The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life;(b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.2) the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in pakistan and the UK. 3) to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of lancashire and greater manchester and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.4) the promotion of religious harmony for the benefit of the public in lancashire and greater manchester by: (a) Educating the public in different religious beliefs including an awareness of their distinctive features and their common ground to promote good relations between persons of different faiths;(b) Promoting knowledge and mutual understanding and respect of the beliefs and practices of different religious faiths.
