What the charity does

To alleviate charitable need in West Africa using an integrated & holistic community level approach, which takes the concept of a model African village using a particular Gambian village as an exemplar to demonstrate practical sustainable development in action, in a manner that might be applied more broadly to address charitable need in other rural communities in West Africa.

Charitable objects

3.1 the prevention or relief of poverty in west africa by: (I) Providing services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty; and (ii) providing or assisting in the provision of education and training and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. 3.2 the relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing in west africa; 3.3 for the public benefit to advance the education of young people in the west africa by: (I) Providing access to free primary education; and (ii) preparing young people for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment. 3.4 such charitable purposes for the public benefit as are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales as the trustees may from time to time determine.
