What the charity does
Wolverhampton LGBT is a provider of various social activities and services for the LGBT community in Wolverhampton and wider Black Country. The aim is to deliver services that the LGBT community feel they need or is lacking in terms of support. WLGBT provide multiple services on a weekly basis to reduce isolation, discrimination and increase social and mental wellbeing.

The object of the cio is:the promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit in wolverhampton and the surrounding areas bya) the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation;b) advancing education and raising awareness in equality and diversity and the needs of lgbt+ people and the issues effecting their communities;c) promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds andd) cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity.
