Charitable objects

To relieve and assist people in any part of the world, who are victims of crises, natural or anthropogenic (man-made) disasters, or other catastrophic events, through the rapid deployment of emergency food and humanitarian aid directly or through partner emergency response teams-composed primarily, though not exclusively, of former armed forces and emergency services personnel-providing immediate, short-term humanitarian victual relief from the moment a crisis occurs until suitable longer-term support is established;to relieve people in need in the United Kingdom, including but not limited to veterans in crisis, and specifically for them to access and afford food, and thereby alleviate hunger caused by the lack of opportunities or resources to obtain sufficient food, by the production and distribution of shelf-stable emergency food parcels and associated humanitarian aid kits; to promote the constructive treatment of offenders and the resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders by partnering with his majesty’s prison and probation service and their veteran and civilian inmate volunteers in the development, production, and distribution of such aid described in I and ii above; and to engage and train serving inmates in this work as a means of sustaining v-aid’s humanitarian operations while contributing to rehabilitation through meaningful voluntary work and accredited training.
