For the benefit of the public and as a practical manifestation and application of the religion of Islam by the muslims of derbyshire and the surrounding area, in accordance with al quran and the sunnah of the prophet muhammed (peace be upon him), to advance their faith in particular, but not exclusively by: a. The provision of a community centre as a beacon of unity and understanding for the residents of derby and surrounding areas and to advance their education, health, social and welfare needs;b. Providing a place for muslims to gather for the purposes of holding of prayer meetings, religious education, public celebration of religious festivals and interfaith activities to enlighten others about the islamic religion.
