Charitable objects

The promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively in margate and throughout kent and its surrounding areas by:-(a) Promoting and staging an annual lgbt festival and other events;(b) Cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity in particular through celebrating the diversity of the lgbt community;(c) Uniting the lgbt community, together with their families and friends, so they can feel safe, welcomed and proud to be themselves at events;(d) Advancing education and raising general awareness among the public about the issues and challenges facing the lives of the lgbt community;(e) Supporting community leaders and organisations that work to eliminate long-standing barriers to equal access, opportunities, and resources for lgbtq+ people; (c) Promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds; and(e) Cultivating a sentiment in favour of equality and diversity.
